I am an award-winning Consultant Urological Surgeon, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of Urological conditions (e.g. prostate, bladder, kidney, genitalia) including both cancer (e.g. prostate, bladder & kidney cancer) and benign conditions (e.g. enlarged prostates, urinary tract infections, erectile dysfunction, stone disease). I use new innovations in care (e.g. robotic surgery) and the latest minimally invasive technology (e.g. focal therapy) to offer solutions to patients' problems. I practice at University College London Hospital and Cleveland Clinic London. As Associate Professor of Urology at UCL, I lead a number of research groups producing world-class practice-changing research, improving the quality of life of patients and introducing new treatments to clinical practice. I am Founding Director of the BURST Research Collaborative and a Hunterian Professor of Surgical Sciences at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.   I completed my Urology training in London, United Kingdom, training in a number of leading institutions including University College London Hospital, Guys Hospital London & Imperial College London and haves worked abroad in different healthcare systems, carrying out clinical and research work at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia and University Southern California, USA. I am a world-renowned health services researcher, having contributed to the first major change in 30 years in the way that we diagnose prostate cancer. I have influenced international policy in prostate cancer screening and have changed NICE, European and American guidelines for urological care through high-impact publications in leading medical journals. I have featured on national TV and media for my expertise including on Sky News, Channel 4 News, the Times, The Guardian, the Telegraph and the Independent.
