Being part of the BENEO Technology Center, I manage, together with an experienced team of seven Food Technologists, food application projects and customer projects. Those are related to Baked Goods, Chocolate, Cereals, Baby Food and plant based meat & fish alternatives. Applying Beneo’s Functional Fibres, Functional Carbohydrates, Rice Ingredients (starches and flours) and Functional Proteins (powder form and texturised), we are happily supporting our customers in connecting nutrition and health.
Within BENEO-Remy, I was responsible for the Customer Technical Support Department. I was in charge of technical advice to our sales partners and customers as well as for food application developments related to rice ingredients.
Within BENEO-Orafti, I was providing technical support to customers world wide, related to the use of dietary fibres (inulin and oligofructose) in the following food products : baked goods, cereals, savoury products and processed meat products. It was about visiting customers to present and assist in using our fibres in their products, managing customer and product development projects with a team of 3 food technologists in our application lab , training our Sales colleagues and Sales Network Partners, giving lectures at food seminars.
Within the R&D department, I was in charge of soft drinks formulations. Being in contact with ingredients suppliers (sugars, flavours, juice concentrates, functional ingredients) for proper selection of ingredients according to the marketing brief, supervising lab and plant trials, approving packagings according to the legislation. Being in charge from lab to shelf.
Within the Oral Care Department, I was in charge of toothpaste formulations. I was providing technical support to Colgate factories in Europe.
Within the Oral Care Department, I was in charge of mouth rinses. From raw material selection to product formulation and in vitro trials.
Within the Personal Care Department, I was in charge of product development related to hair care products, as well as doing technical support to Colgate production sites in Europe (attending plant trials and doing trouble shooting).
