Front Office Gas Trader role. I executed real-time trading strategies across European gas markets (NBP, TTF, THE, ZTP) using Trayport Joule, consistently exceeding P&L targets during off-peak hours. My role involved managing physical gas nominations, cross-border flow scheduling, and storage optimisation via PRISMA and EZ-Ops. I regularly identified and acted on arbitrage opportunities by combining market fundamentals with intraday volatility.
Guidance and Support Mentorship role for First Year Physics students in the Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MAPS) faculty at UCL. I planned and delivered sessions that focused on academic guidance, mental health well-being, and university transition. This helped mentees navigate their academic and personal challenges while fostering a positive and successful start to their UCL journey.
I led market entry analysis for a startup expanding curricular and extracurricular Placement/Industry Year offerings for startups into 3-5 non-European countries, utilising appropriate dynamic frameworks (such as DVF and startup-student split) to assess regulatory environments and strategic fit. I conducted qualitative research through interviews with founders and students which enhanced my quantitative research dataset by 50%, and applied Python and Microsoft tools to evaluate market size, demand, and startup ecosystems. I applied these to produce data-driven recommendations and a strategic expansion plan, informing the startup’s growth strategy and priority markets.
