Senior Product Manager with an extensive experience in telecommunications and ICT. In the past 10 years I have been involved in key activities for the ICT business of Proximus, mostly focused on Communication and Collaboration solutions (Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, etc.). I am currently leading the Hybrid Workplace team, in charge of strategy and roadmap, product launch (including market analysis, pricing, go-to-market, sales training, supporting services design and implementation), but also ensuring profitability, and supporting pre-sales on strategic deals. In charge of Product management for UC solutions, within Proximus Enterprise IT solutions, with a focus on the Cisco Collaboration portfolio
=> Pre-Sales: Support sales team worldwide: answers to RFx, development of business cases (CAPEX or Revenue Share models), customer presentations and demos, across all Video Solutions of OnMobile. => Product Management: I conducted several market and technology studies to shape the evolutions of the Video Product Unit portfolio (streaming technologies, mobile development frameworks, cloud computing, etc.). => Solution Architect: expert support to projects (during design or integration) as well as driving efforts to develop cross BU solutions, taking the best of breed of each portfolio, and integrating them together.
=> Pre-Sales Consultant (75%): Support EMEA sales team in developing and closing business opportunities, including solutions design, dimensioning and pricing, customer presentations, answers to RFx, tradeshows, etc. Portfolio includes Live Video Streaming, Video Surveillance, Web to IPTV (Set-top-box), Converged Video Mail, Conferencing, Flash-based VoIP, Content Adaptation and Traffic Optimization, etc. => Customer Services Engineer (25%): On-site implementation, support and training for Dilithium video solutions. Projects often involve complex Telco and IP environments (IMS) and multiple interfaces (customers, system integrators, telecom vendors). In all those projects I usually achieve >95% customer satisfaction index and quickly close acceptance. => Directly handle activities with Tier1 accounts and key partners
=> Developed and delivered product marketing packages for sales forces: market positioning, features benefits, competition analysis, success stories, etc. => Directly promoted Alcatel-Lucent’s solutions to key customers and prospects, during face-to-face meetings, demonstrations and exhibitions/tradeshows (Mobile World Congress, etc.). Thanks to my technical background, I particularly focused on field results and experience, and translated them into high-level messages. => Project manager for internal or external communication events: WiMAX Forum Congress series (Netherlands & Singapore), WiMAX Press and Analysts Days in Velizy, Wireless Users Group with Alcatel-Lucent customers, etc. For those events I defined demonstrations (content and messaging) and supervise their development, together with our partners (mobile operators, chipset and device manufacturers, etc.). => Followed the ALU Stretch Program as a High Potential Employee
=> Management of a group of experts over 4 countries (France, Portugal, Romania & Egypt) => Actively supported many GSM/EDGE projects worldwide as a technical expert, including on-site missions, customer workshops and presentations, etc. => Tendering support (RFx) and feedback to Product Line / Marketing for product evolutions
