Supported end‑to‑end operations of the MongoDB Atlas platform, including hosting, version lifecycle management, security hardening, replication, and configuration across global environments. Worked closely with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) to provision, scale, and maintain Atlas deployments, ensuring reliability, performance, and adherence to best‑practice cloud architecture. Partnered with engineering, product, and business teams to design and refine scalable workflows and operational processes, improving efficiency and consistency across the platform. Contributed to continuous improvement initiatives, helping enhance automation, observability, and operational resilience within the Atlas ecosystem.
Partnered with cross‑functional stakeholders to design, architect, and implement cloud‑based AML and Fraud prevention solutions using NICE Actimize technologies. Translated business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with best practices in financial crime prevention. Created and maintained high‑quality technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation guides to support delivery and operational teams. Provided architectural oversight during deployment, ensuring system reliability, compliance, and seamless integration with client environments.
During my tenure leading the Actimize Essentials Upgrade Program, I encountered a period filled with valuable challenges and opportunities for professional growth. A primary responsibility was to develop and implement an upgrade strategy tailored to client needs while minimizing the risk of failure and promoting Actimize objectives. I managed defect resolution and participated actively in the version approval process. My role required close collaboration with key stakeholders, including Product Management, DevOps, AppOps, and Research & Development, to ensure the successful delivery of Actimize Essentials. In addition, I led and trained a team of engineers responsible for executing upgrades. Through this role, I enhanced my expertise in AWS and cloud architecture, expanded my knowledge of microservices, containers, and serverless computing, and shared this expertise with my team. My work also involved managing complex projects through close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure seamless and successful execution.
During this period, I focused on advancing both my technical skills and professional development. I successfully delivered Oracle to MSSQL migrations for five Actimize Essentials customers and facilitated the transition of customers to new AWS accounts. I took on the role of the lead engineer for the Actimize Essentials Upgrade Program, where I delivered applications that leverage an expanded range of AWS features and services. This involved deploying Kubernetes containers, utilizing Ansible, and transitioning Linux applications running on EC2 to a cloud-centric microservices architecture.
I supported a sophisticated Linux multi-hub global application, adhering to complex and ambitious standards. I specialized in the market access (EMMA) solution and deployed the Low Latency market access application. This role was customer-facing, involving close collaboration with clients in a project setup. During this time, I enhanced my skills in Linux, ISQL, TCL, FIX protocol, and other technologies.
As a Student Ambassador, I supported outreach officers at career fairs and events, leveraging strong communication skills to effectively convey information about University of Westminster courses.
As "FANS" I was helping new students get familiar with their new life as students at University of Westminster.
