I came to the U.S. from India on my own at 18, and I have hundreds of public speaking horror stories from trying to find my footing here. I built Yoodli for people with the talent but not the access to coaching, a version of me not too long ago. Before Yoodli, I worked on special projects for Google co-founder Sergey Brin, was one of the earliest employees at Taara within X, the moonshot factory, and incubated Yoodli as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Allen Institute for AI. We’ve raised more than $60M from WestBridge Capital, Madrona, and Neotribe Ventures, and we’re based in Seattle. I was the only person at Google reporting to cofounder Sergey Brin - an incredible opportunity. Workstreams included weekly reports to the Alphabet/ Google leadership team (C Suite and board members), initiatives across the Other Bets (Waymo, GoogleX, Verily etc.) and special projects needed by the Alphabet leadership
Co-led naming and marketing launch of Android M (Marshmallow). Also responsible for naming 5 key features on the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P products (including ‘imprint’ which is now the fingerprint sensor on the Google Pixel)
