Hello everyone! 👋 I’m Varshan, currently working as SDE2 at GoTo Technologies. Over my journey in tech, I’ve developed a strong foundation in Python , Generative AI , React , and AWS ,enabling me to tackle complex software engineering challenges with confidence. I’m also well-versed in DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, workflow automation, and scalable cloud deployments that enhance reliability and system performance. Lately, I’ve been expanding my skill set by learning Go (Golang), diving deeper into backend systems and high-performance service development. I’m passionate about building efficient, intelligent, and impactful solutions that bridge innovation with real-world problem-solving.
I’m working on building a Vendor Risk Management system that performs six different types of scans, covering areas from compliance checks and AI risk assessment to data source validation. In parallel, I’m also developing an AI observability tool that reads application logs, analyzes issues, identifies root causes, suggests fixes, automatically raises bug reports, and creates pull requests for fixes.
Worked on building an AI-powered vulnerability remediation and automation system that streamlined detection, triage, and resolution processes across the organization’s security infrastructure. Focused on designing scalable, cloud-native architecture and integrating multiple vulnerability sources to enable end-to-end security automation. Tech Stack: AWS · Kubernetes · Dapr · Python · React · Prometheus · Grafana · Jira API · Wiz · TruffleHog · Rapid7 • Next JS
Led the development of Zenq, an advanced LLM-powered assistant designed to answer all queries related to Goto’s Security Organization and generate remediation for vulnerabilities. • Architected and implemented the system using Azure OpenAI and LlamaIndex for enterprise data integration and contextual intelligence. • Trained the model with internal data from Confluence, Jira, and Sourcegraph, enabling it to provide accurate, organization-specific responses. • Integrated AI-driven vulnerability remediation generation, automating the process of analyzing, prioritizing, and resolving security findings. • Improved organizational efficiency by centralizing security knowledge and reducing dependency on manual lookups across multiple systems.
