Hi, I’m Varshan. A Cybersecurity student with a background in Software Engineering and a strong interest in keeping people and systems secure in an increasingly digital world. Over the years, I’ve built a diverse technical toolkit that includes programming (Python, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP), database management (MySQL, MSSQL), and hands-on knowledge in networking and systems through certifications like Cisco Networking, Red Hat Academy, and SOC. But I’m not just about the tech. I’ve led teams during university events, taken part in national-level competitions, and even won awards like the APU 2023 Videre and MY5G Ericsson Pioneers Program. I’ve also proudly represented in MDEC and MOE competitions as both a facilitator and competitor. These experiences sharpened my leadership, communication, and mentorship skills. My curiosity drives me beyond the classroom. From tackling Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges to exploring how AI can combat phishing, I’m always seeking new ways to grow. Currently, I’m putting my people skills to work as a Financial Advisor at Great Eastern, helping individuals protect their future through smart financial planning.
