About

Coming from a Mexican-immigrant family, I have experienced first-hand the inequities that come with a low socio-economic status and language barriers in this country, and I strive to advocate for individuals with disadvantages and bridge the gaps in the healthcare system as a future nurse. I aim to care for my patients' mind, body, and spirit. I have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from California State University, Sacramento, and am currently attaining my MSN, RN at the University of San Francisco. My path has been influenced by perseverance, intellectual curiosity, and a strong desire to contribute in meaningful ways. Motivated by a dedication to healthcare, I am pursuing graduate education in nursing to expand my clinical competencies and develop leadership abilities that support improved patient care.
