I returned to easyJet to assist with multiple digital safety projects as part of their FY2025 forecasting, including preparation of business cases, resource and financial profiles.
This was a senior leadership role within easyJet’s major Digital Safety programme, overseeing the delivery of a project aimed at transitioning internal systems from VMWare to Windows365 (W365) for a community of remote developers and support teams across multiple business areas, bringing agility and robust cloud-based systems. I was accountable for overseeing the end-to-end project process, including business case generation, PID authoring, project planning, budget control, user surveys, risk and issue management, testing, and more. Some highlights from this role include: • Building a strong team to implement a brand new product for easyJet • Facilitating project workshops and communication to support system wide action, changes and adoption, as well as cultivating strong relationships with all key stakeholders • Taking on ownership of consultancy Cap Gemini for an Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Discovery project, including budget management, identifying of SMEs and stakeholders, managing multiple workshops, writing the PID, coordinating the plan alongside Cap Gemini, risk and issue management, information gathering and project reporting
In this role for one of the largest housing associations in London and the Southeast, I lent my expertise of the housing sector to turnaround a project in the underperforming UAT stage of a £1million initiative. This was aimed at migrating internal systems from Salesforce to Microsoft Dynamics, ultimately completely reworking the process following an extensive analysis and troubleshooting of existing ways of working, and thus rescuing the project from failing. I oversaw multiple project areas including the Data Migration team, testing, key stakeholder management, ensuring business readiness, cutover planning and implementation, benefits review, lessons learned and post-implementation support. I additionally took on the role as Test Manager, managing the testing team and redesigning the entire UAT process, as well as integrating best practices and a centralised testing tracking area by moving the end-to-end project and testing process onto Microsoft Azure DevOps platform, providing coaching and training to the team and SMEs to get the most out of the platform. Some other highlights in this role include: • Supporting the end of an IT merger of housing systems programme, conducting gap analysis, restructuring and repositioning the team, overseeing the testing process including defect management during the early implementation stages, and project managing the remaining backlog • Supporting the merger between Catalyst and Peabody through the integration of existing finance projects into the pipeline, delivering requirements to support a wider finance merger programme, unifying Chart of Accounts, upgrading and populating data for the annual budget application, Sun Q&A11 Reporting and Rent & Service charges
I served as part of a team of Project Managers, delivering PwC’s major AD programme across the entire EMEA region, managing all phases of delivery across three territories in Spain, Netherlands and Austria. Part of this remit included overseeing the performance of a multi-functional, globally distributed team accountable for achieving the full migration checklist, including inventory of the territory estate, scoping local applications and performance of testing for the new global AD environment. I worked closely with regulated territories and CISOs to plan work and support key decision making, as well as to proactively monitor and mitigate programme risk on a global scale. Some key achievements during this period include: • Providing unified processes and continuous improvement through gathering of lessons learned, creation and standardisation of templates, spotting and closing gaps and making suggestions to finetune processes • Key role in maintaining business continuity during the Covid-19 pandemic, adapting projects to suit an all-remote workforce, managing application testing and user migrations via VPN and VDI across the EMEA region, as well as assisting in the coordination of global efforts to use VDI for testing
