I co-founded Cybervalue because I saw too many organisations spending on cybersecurity without knowing whether it was protecting what actually matters to their business. Over 20+ years I've held CISO, CTO, and senior consulting roles at Verizon, Worldline, HPE, IBM, and a London-based MDR scale-up — building SOCs, leading global security teams, and advising boards on risk and resilience across IT and OT environments. What sets me apart is that I've done the work on both sides: deep in the technology — designing security architectures, running SOCs, hands-on with SIEM and incident response — and at the leadership table, driving strategy, governance, and board-level reporting. Today at Cybervalue, I serve as Managing Partner and act as advisory CISO for regulated enterprises, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure providers across Belgium and Europe. Beyond that, I advise on cybersecurity strategy from assessment through implementation, OT/ICS security using our Dome approach, third-party risk management, SOC and MDR optimisation, incident response coordination, and the secure adoption of AI. My approach is straightforward: know what you have, protect what matters, and make sure detection and response are never an afterthought. People and processes matter as much as technology. Dealing with NIS2, DORA, IT/OT security, or SOC/IR challenges? Need experienced security leadership — embedded, advisory, or as a coach for your existing CISO?
