Van W. Martin is President and CEO of Martin Commercial Properties. He manages a team of over 70 employees including leasing and sales professionals who provide solutions and create value for clients with local, national, and global real estate requirements. He oversees operations across a full spectrum of business lines including asset services, brokerage services, business development, corporate services, and investment property services. Through strategic direction and leadership, Van fosters a culture of high-performance and dedication. He is instrumental in driving growth and has led the company to become Mid-Michigan's leader in commercial real estate. With more than 35 years of experience, Van has an extensive background and in-depth knowledge of the real estate industry. His expertise has earned him the title as one of CBRE's Top Performing Professionals in the U.S. in four different years, as well as his designation as "Realtor of the Year:" in 2003 by the Commercial Board of Realtors. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Commercial Board of REALTORS® (CBOR), the Commercial Alliance of REALTORS® (CAR), the Michigan Commercial Alliance of REALORS® (MiCAR) and the Michigan Association of REALTORS® (MAR), and has held various leadership positions within each organization.
