Engaged member of a cross-cultural network between Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth environmental leaders to improve conservation efforts and support young nature ambassadors.
Conducting terrestrial fieldwork in support of terrestrial inventory and monitoring for the TRCA, with a focus on bat exit surveys in the context of wildlife conservation.
Contributed to diverse projects in the Chow-Fraser Coastal Ecology Lab at McMaster University by analysing water quality samples, employing radio telemetry to monitor Blanding's turtles, and interpreting wildlife camera footage for ecological research.
Worked closely with the TRCA and alliance members to provide input on TRCA initiatives, municipal partner programs, and projects. Worked to promote sustainable communities and regional biodiversity.
Worked alongside youth council executives to lead and organise community-engaging events such as native species plantings, invasive species removals, environmental workshops, and informative presentations for the Youth Council and the public. Provided input on TRCA initiatives and activities, and worked on raising awareness on environmental issues.
Led the chapter of a youth-run non-profit that promotes urban gardening and sustainable practices. Worked with youth to plan and host community events and bring awareness to the importance of urban gardening and climate justice.
