I am a senior pre-medical student passionate about delivering compassionate care and advancing health equity through research and service. At Baylor University, I combine my academic studies with hands-on experience in scientific data analysis, patient care, and research, equipping me to excel in both clinical and research settings. I have gained valuable experience in various healthcare settings, where I honed my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while prioritizing quality patient care. My research experience includes analyzing health data to identify trends and tackle critical public health issues, conduct detailed statistical analyses on large datasets, culminating in the effective presentation of my findings as well as research within the field of breast cancer, focused on the mechanisms of epithelial-mesenchymal transition, metastasis, and small molecules with anticancer activity at the micro-molecular level. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy exploring new cultures and engaging in community service in underserved areas both locally and internationally. These experiences broaden my perspective and strengthen my commitment to improving healthcare outcomes on a global-scale. My goal is to combine scientific inquiry with compassionate care, making a meaningful impact in the medical field. I look forward to connecting and contributing to the advancement of healthcare together!
Track continuous cardiac telemetry for hospitalized patients, recognizing heart rhythm changes and promptly communicating abnormalities to nurses and physicians. Analyze cardiac rhythms, document telemetry findings, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient safety and efficient clinical care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Engage with local underserved high school students through Baylor’s CityLab outreach program by facilitating hands-on science activities and introducing foundational laboratory techniques. Help promote STEM education and scientific curiosity while mentoring students and providing exposure to research and biomedical career pathways.
Currently designing an issue of Baylor’s undergraduate research journal, Scientia, by obtaining abstracts and research articles from students involved in independent or mentor-guided research, peer-reviewing and editing submissions, and delegating tasks to my committee members.

Lead and oversaw Social Chair and Creative Director by guiding the process of planning social events and creating engaging content that showcased social events, service projects, and rush week.
Participated in bi-weekly meetings and communicated UGC initiatives to the President and Vice President, ensuring effective communication and alignment with organizational objectives. Contributed to strengthening inter-chapter relationships and promoting inclusivity across the council.
Spearheaded a variety of events aimed at fostering a close-knit sisterhood and creating opportunities for sisters to bond and strengthen their connections. Handled all aspects of event coordination, including securing venues, arranging formals, and managing budgets to ensure each event was both memorable and financially sufficient. Played a key role in enhancing the overall sisterhood experience and cultivating a strong sense of community within the organization.
Shadowed 4 physicians in supportive and palliative care, cardiology, nephrology, and anesthesiology, acquiring valuable insights into each diverse medical specialty. Provided support to terminally ill patients and families during challenging moments, assisted with clerical tasks such as document organizing and form copying, and observed diagnostic procedures such as transesophageal echocardiograms. Developed hands-on experience with intubation and general anesthesia administration during surgeries such as robotic cholecystectomies, monitoring patient vitals, and collaborating with surgical teams.
Assisted in planning and organizing a variety of social events to foster community and engagement among members of BURST. These events included study hours, potlucks, and painting socials, which provided opportunities for members to bond in a casual and welcoming environment. By facilitating these gatherings, I created spaces for members to connect and share experiences outside of academic settings. Through these efforts, I contributed to building a supportive and inclusive community that encouraged both personal and professional growth.
Organized and hosted various academic events aimed at fostering engagement and learning within the organization. I delivered lectures on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine and explored the ethical implications of integrating AI into healthcare. Collaborated with the Journal Club committee to plan and execute research article competitions, providing members with an opportunity to critically evaluate scientific literature and present their own analyses. Facilitated interdisciplinary discussions on medical innovation and ethics, encouraging members to reflect on the evolving role of technology in patient care. Contributed to creating an inclusive and intellectually stimulating environment that welcomed diverse perspectives and fostered academic growth.
