I’m a biotech executive with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for bringing transformative therapies to patients with severe diseases and high unmet medical need. With over 20 years of international experience, I’ve led cross-functional teams, managed P&Ls, and successfully launched rare disease medicines across global markets—including Spinraza® for SMA and Qalsody® for SOD1-ALS. Currently, I serve as VP of Commercialization at argenx, where I lead global strategy for empasiprubart, a first-in-class C2 complement inhibitor. The molecule is in registrational development for MMN and CIDP, and in proof-of-concept stages for DM and DGF. Previously, I was Commercial Lead for early pipeline assets ARGX-119, ARGX-109, and ARGX-121, shaping go-to-market strategies from preclinical through early clinical development. My career spans commercial leadership roles at Biogen, Genzyme, Organon, Cerus, and BMEYE, a venture-backed medtech startup. I’ve worked across EMEA and Latin America, driving success in commercial strategy, sales & marketing, business operations, FP&A, and supply chain. I hold a Chemical Engineering degree from ITESM (Mexico) and an MBA from Nyenrode University (Netherlands).
