Act as the primary point of contact for individuals requesting medical records or other protected health information. Enrollment & Billing : Responsible for the accurate enrollment and billing process for an insurance organization. Maintain related documents, update corresponding records and responsible for enrollment and billing query. Accounts Receivable Associate communicate with insurance companies and other payers with regards to unpaid claims. Responsible for calling insurance companies and setting in motion follow-up actions on outstanding Accounts Receivables Monitoring daily flow of patient records Knowledge on Medicare appeals with supporting documents and briefs about the appeal Updating patient account information as per insurance companies or patients Accurately applying billing codes to all billable accounts Adherence to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies
