Uwe Wagner is the founder and principal of TIBURON Consulting LLC, a Bay Area firm that helps European small medium enterprises and corporations succeed in the US market and leverage the Silicon Valley ecosystem. He has over 35 years of experience in the high-tech industry, spanning aerospace, semiconductor, software, network, life science, internet, cleantech, and social welfare sectors. He is also an innovation scout at Diakonie Deutschland, one of the largest social welfare organizations in Germany, where he applies his passion and expertise for social innovation to develop and implement solutions for aging and technology. He collaborates with various stakeholders across sectors and cultures to share knowledge and best practices. He is an active board member of GABA, a non-profit organization that fosters transatlantic business and tech communities. He holds a BA in International Business Administration and Marketing from Bentheim Technical College.

GABA German American Business Association is a member-driven non-profit organization that fosters transatlantic knowledge-sharing and networking among German-American and Californian business and tech communities. We meet with our members through an online membership database and in person at our weekly, monthly and annual networking events. Our programs address critical business, technical and leadership issues, with specific industry programs focused on life science, semiconductors, venture capital, and legal corporate governance, among others. The GABA Software Industry Group creates events to examine trends within its own industry, but will also engage with GABA's other IGs,to create co-sponsored events covering software in a specific industry sector. Our events typically include an expert to set the stage for our discussions, followed by a diverse panel of thought leaders that will examine different points of view.
