After 15+ years having worked in the field of secondary fuel and biomass sourcing, pre-treatment, QA/QC, production, refining, densification, handling, storage, feeding and co-firing I started early 2013 as a free consultant on my own in these fields in order to support clients internationally. From 2008 to 2013 I worked for the consultancy DNV KEMA internationally in the exciting field of fossil and renewable energy generation from solid biomass and related issues. It was very satisfying to be able to use the experience and expertise achieved in various challenging and interesting assignments during my business life and thus to consult clients for their future orientated projects - or doing troubleshooting where necessary. Working internationally is worth for me while understanding foreign cultures, mentalities as well as different approaches in achieving project goals and being part of a team or leading a team to satisfying the client’s wishes. Before that I worked more than 10 years for a leading waste management company in the field of selection, pre-treatment, production, densification, QA/QC, storage, handling, and feeding of secondary fuels for co-combustion purposes in power stations, cement-, and limekilns. I’m a very experienced engineer, well grounded in project management, business management, technical consultancy and implementation. I have worked for various companies and in various branches as project manager, board member and technical manager.
