Usman Zubair is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Chairman, Department of Materials at National Textile University, Faisalabad. He is also offering his technical services to several industries as a part-time consultant. He is currently focusing on the development of nanomaterials for energy applications across the broader fields of sensing, catalysis, energy harvesting, and energy storage. His current areas of interest are machine learning, sensing platforms, and sustainable processing across the various chemical, polymeric, and textile processing industries. His PhD research area was the development of electrode materials for Li batteries and wearable supercapacitors.
