EDUCATE We Educate our community about the value of a community-based food system and ways to access locally grown food. SUPPORT We Support our local farmers by offering educational workshops on sustainable business and production practices, while providing opportunities to connect with consumers. CONNECT We Connect various stakeholders from our food system– including producers, distributors, processors, restauranteurs, consumers and policy makers– in an effort to strengthen our local food shed.
We are a community grocery in its start-up phase — owned by the community, built by the community, & aiming to sell community-made products as much as we can. Locally sourced. We aim to provide Nashvillians seasonal, locally sourced food year-round while providing local growers a sustainable source of income all year. Sustainably operated. We are dedicated to sustainability by partnering with local farmers, reducing waste, and offering bulk shopping options. Community owned. Community ownership is what makes co-ops unique. We get to build the experience we want to have with food.
