My responsibilities include being a consultant on clinical aspect of patient safety and risk for the VMIA as part of the Medical indemnity team. I scope out new tools, products and systems to improve patient safety within the public health sector in Victoria. Currently a sponsor to a number of patient safety projects and innovation in health care projects. Facilitating workshops, conferences, board, executive and middle management training on risk. Working with the Gov Risk team doing strategic risk description and risk maturity assessments. Has experience in project, event and relationship management. Taking the lead in establishing services for HIV positive women who attend the largest HIV clinic in Europe. Establishing and strenghtening links between HIV, GUM and maternity.
