I worked on the Savings project that helps people save money by making it easy to open a savings account and receive interest from day one.
I lead a team of 3-5 people in building a generic vendor listing service for the Delivery Hero brands. The service resolves in real time the vendor availability and creates a listing of the vendors for the customer. My main job was designing a system that: guarantees high availability is real-time meets business needs is fault tolerant scalable can handle high traffic at low latency I had to ensure product delivery, KPIs are met, handle inter team communications and deliverables. As a result of the criticality of the system, we performed an on-call rotation.
