As a Sales Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, I work on initiatives such as legacy modernization, cyber resilience, and the operationalization of AI workloads. My role is to connect technical realities with business priorities — translating infrastructure challenges into commercial value, stakeholder alignment, and executable roadmaps. My background combines enterprise technology sales with an interdisciplinary academic foundation from Humboldt University of Berlin, Queen Mary University of London, and the University of Mannheim. In my current role as a Sales Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, I drive complex enterprise infrastructure opportunities from prospecting to close. I work closely with customers, channel partners and internal specialists to develop account strategies, qualify opportunities, coordinate deal execution, support long-term customer growth and lead new logo acquisition. Managed a diverse portfolio of enterprise customers in Healthcare and Insurance. Lead role in most sales projects and customer relationships, running the full cycle from initial engagement to closing, while developing account strategies together with the enterprise account lead, collaborating closely with technical specialists and co-selling with technology and channel partners. Contributed to the Sales Excellence project group while working 20h per week alongside my master’s thesis. The role exceeded typical student responsibilities and was comparable to a Junior Sales Development Manager with additional responsibilities in sales operations (CRM optimization, dashboards, data quality). Key responsibilities & achievements: • Qualified opportunities in the Mid-Market and Enterprise segment, engaging directly with C-level and senior management stakeholders • Drove CRM optimization, dashboard development, and data quality improvements within the Sales Excellence initiative • Gained exposure to DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and Digital Identity solutions
Quota-carrying sales role (student contract, but often working 30–40h/week) with responsibilities equivalent to a full Account Manager position. Covered the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to closing deals and consulted SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise clients on SaaS and data solutions.
