• Assisted in over 300 cases pertaining to challenges on orders issued by Delhi Government with wide ranging subject matters including but not limited to education and taxation. • Appeared and argued on behalf of Delhi Government before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. • Argued final hearing matters before NCDRC. • As a part of the AOR’s office, drafted and filed various special leave petitions.
• As a part of the Original Side roster, prepared case briefs on daily and reserved matters relating to IPR, arbitration and commercial disputes and supplemented it with research on relevant issues. • Visited Tihar Jail as part of an official visit from High Court of Delhi to verify facilities provided to undertrials and convicts. • Extensively researched on and assisted the Hon’ble Judge in drafting judgments on trademark infringement suits, patent infringement suits, and challenge to arbitral awards.
• Researched on daily matters and reserved judgments, primarily dealing with service matters relating to the Armed Forces, Contempt Appeals and Execution First Appeals. • Over the course of 1 month, worked on over 60 detailed orders and judgments. • Solely assisted the Hon’ble Judge in deciding the issue which had, till then, been unsettled by the High Court of Delhi, of whether a written application is mandatory under Section 8 of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 which culminated in the judgment in Alok Kumar Lodha vs Asian Hotels (North) Limited (2021) 277 DLT 1 (DB).
• Participated in Legal Awareness drives in Timarpur. • Participated in jail study visit to Mandoli Jail and Observation Home at Kingsway Camp apart from Juvenile Justice Board, Kingsway Camp, Delhi. • Attended a workshop on Missing Children.
• Briefed the Hon’ble Judge on daily matters. • Researched on issues in reserved judgments involving Customs Act, 1962 & Delhi School Education Act, 1973.
