Engineering background with international experiences across multiple countries, bringing a broad perspective on research, production, and maintenance practices. Skilled in applying advanced design tools and data analysis to deliver innovative and practical solutions. A diverse background combining hands-on expertise with adaptability, enabling effective contributions to global engineering projects.
During the summer internship, extensive experience was gained within the Research and Development department of SANY. The internship was primarily completed at SANY’s largest production and R&D facilities in Changsha, recognized as the company’s central engineering hub. Work was carried out alongside the engineering teams responsible for the design of SANY’s new machinery, and active involvement was provided in observing and understanding the overall product development workflow. Prototype units were examined at the facilities in Shaoyang, where the current operational status of the machinery was evaluated and potential enhancement opportunities were assessed. Throughout this process, a detailed understanding of prototype performance, system integration, and design considerations was developed, contributing to a broader appreciation of how engineering refinements are identified and prioritized within an industrial context. Advanced 3D modeling and technical drawing tasks were conducted using Creo software at SANY’s primary R&D center in Changsha, one of the company’s most sophisticated engineering environments. Within this setting, proficiency in engineering documentation, design methodologies, and parametric modeling standards was significantly enhanced. In addition, access was provided to one of China’s most advanced and highly integrated manufacturing infrastructures, enabling close observation of state-of-the-art production lines and large-scale industrial engineering practices. Through participation in real industrial projects, a comprehensive understanding of the full development process was acquired, including the transition from engineering design to practical implementation.
Conducted benchmark research in the Research and Development (R&D) department, using Excel to organize and analyze data for internal projects. Created PowerPoint presentations for team meetings and utilized Creo for 3D modeling, demonstrating a solid grasp of engineering principles. Additionally, actively participated in TÜV tests, closely following the processes and evaluations conducted on the machines. Actively participated in the Production (Assembly) department, contributing directly to the assembly process. Applied technical skills and attention to detail to ensure precision and efficiency in product assembly. Gained practical experience in the After-Sales department by assisting in the maintenance and repair of machines at various sites. Developed troubleshooting skills and gained insights into common mechanical issues and field repair processes. Managed key tasks in the Warehouse department, working extensively with the SAP system to ensure accurate inventory control and efficient warehouse operations.
Relied heavily on the notable characteristics and functionalities of Siemens NX and AutoCAD in order to complete challenging and complex CAD modelling and design work, which called for a thorough attention to detail and a fundamental knowledge of engineering principles. Accomplished an extensive programme of welding training with a focus on hands-on practice and practical application.
