- Leading internal audit, ethics&investigation, audit analytics, fraud analytics, and fraud&loss prevention functions - Implementing and maintaining risk management strategies, control objectives and risk scenarios - Managing process of audit in designing and preparing risk-based annual audit plans and audit engagement programs - Maintaining management of risks of the Company by monitoring anomalies with the help of DB management systems like SQL and graph database technologies, as well as programming languages like Python and data visualization tools like Tableau - Working with PMs to create business cases to support departments and enterprise projects - Contributing to the development of controls and risk management technology and support adoption of best tools and practices - Developing and managing rules/alerts, preventive, and detective tools in various systems based on root cause analysis, patterns, and trends - Extending awareness of risks associated with business and potential impacts
- Assurance and consulting engagements in the group companies and international subsidiaries such as Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI), Anadolu Efes - Efes Breweries, Migros, Adel Kalemcilik (Faber Castell), Çelik Motor (KIA), Anadolu ISUZU, and ASM (John Hopkins Medicine) - Leading implementation of audit analytics structure in the Company, setting up department database, creating and documenting risk scenarios and preparing scripts of the controls for the very first time - Analyzing big data via programming language (Python) and database servers
- Objectively reviewing Company’s business processes, evaluating the efficacy of risk management procedures that are currently in place - Protecting against fraud and theft of the Company assets - Ensuring that the organization is complying with relevant laws - Making recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes - Reporting and distributing findings to the board and management
- Supervising the compliance of the Bank's all branches, subsidiaries, and Head Office Units subject to consolidation with the banking principles and regulations, the Bank's objectives, policies and procedures - Supervising the effectiveness and efficiency of the Bank's activities, and the effectiveness of internal control and risk management systems - Conducting inspections and investigations - Working on the establishment of systems that ensure the traceability of the actions taken by the internal audit system and the business unit as a result of the audit activities, and to monitor the effectiveness of the systems - Designing and implementing early warning scenarios by using the SQL database for detection of irregularities
