As a Power Generation Professional, I have 16 years of experience in the energy sector of which over ten years have been spent in management roles. With the advantage of Aksa Energy’s overall power plants portfolio, I have gained knowledge and experience at Natural Gas, Fuel Oil, Hydro, and Wind power plants on both project and operation/maintenance sides. I have a good knowledge of Energy Regulations, Energy Markets, Asset Management, Power Plant Operations, Strategy and Performance Reporting. Also, i provide mentoring support to entrepreneurs at ITU Çekirdek incubation center.
- To efficiently monitor the performance of power plants operations, establishing the reporting philosophy and related database and reporting systems. - Monitoring the operations, maintenance, and commercial performance of power plants and reporting to senior management. To ensure that the outputs obtained are evaluated in the company's new investment plans and growth strategies. - Digitalization of reporting systems, PI Platforms, and preparation of relevant processes within the framework of the digital transformation program. Ensuring effective maintenance management and follow-up by designing the SAP PM module from the beginning within the framework of the SAP HANA transformation program. - Leading the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability improvement programs, including the establishment of KPIs, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to track progress. - As a member of the strategy committee, to play an active role in the creation of Aksa Energy's globalization strategies and the determination of the strategy roadmap together with the executive board.
Closely monitoring the World and Turkey energy market and developing business for international and domestic clients. Working together with our international business partners to provide consultancy, equipment supply and business development for the energy, oil and gas markets.
Ensure coordination between the units in Aksa Energy Power Plant Management department. Monitors operations of power plants for efficiency and safety ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are followed. Managing relations with public authorities such as TEIAS, EPDK, BOTAS etc. Directly manages OHS, Environmental & Energy Legislations, SAP Process & Stock Management teams. Managing all related activities of Power Plants and ensure implementation of any legislation and regulations changes. Also member of Aksa Sustainability Committee Closely follows Energy Markets and energy trading activities. Prepare several performance reports to upper management including production, efficiency, profitability, performance analysis etc. Closely follow up daily production reports of power plants. Organize the electrical maintenance. Negotiating and reviewing service and maintenance contracts. Preparing and reviewing annual budgets of operations and follow up monthly.

Collect the offers from manufacturers and make technical reviews and comments for the proposals. Negotiating and arranging meetings with subcontactors on cost, technical and other issues. Rendering technical support to purchasing department to buy materials needed for the projects. Pursuing outside sources for funds and be in contact with other companies for new, innovative equipment upgrade. Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimates. Attending design meetings for new invesment projects. Giving support and visiting to construction sites on technical, organization and planning issues. Ensure appropriate and timely reporting of project progress. Performed all essential functions of Lead Project Engineer for multiple, concurrent small to large SSD project orders. Designate the material list and coordinate with local and international suppliers. Prepare all detail design and engineering documents and follow up production progress. Manage all phases of multiple projects in collaboration with agencies and contactors. Support after sales department , visit sites as technical consultant.
