About

Highly developed project management professional with a diverse interest in the fields of autonomous vehicle technology, transport planning and design, mobility pattern discovery and traffic flows and asset and construction management. I am currently conducting research in the policy and decision-making along with infrastructure requirements for implementing a stakeholder-proposed mobility service in form of an autonomous public transport system. As an instructor, I am always interested in instructing students through a teaching outcome-oriented approach to enhance their learning experience. My approach is student centric and directed towards enhancing their readiness for market competitiveness. I engage in applied research for reuse of recycled materials on geotechnical projects and I am also focused on green construction and smart project management approaches such as nD BIM to reduce the economic and environment impact of the construction endeavours. As an avid learner and having a demonstrable industrial career foundation, I am always open to take challenging tasks to enhance my qualification as a professional civil engineer. I have demonstrated the ability to develop objectives, goals and implement research and teaching experience.

In my PhD at Curtin University (Bentley Campus) I researched the non-linear traffic flow patterns within an urban settlement (Abu Dhabi), cost and environmental in/out-flows for a traditional approach and a holistic green approach. In order to answer the research questions, the objective of this study were to go beyond the traditional concrete versus asphalt debate and analyse the sustainability of transportation infrastructure as a system serving a on-demand autonomous public transport fleet of medium to large sized electric/hybrid autonomous vehicles.
