Responsible for leading all aspects of the finance function in HP 3D Printing Business Unit. Partnering the 3D Printing General Manager to drive all operational, financial and strategic aspects of the division.
Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team to define, align and execute the operating plan for Nike EMEA ($11bn revenues/122M units in inventory) aiming to deliver long-term strategic profitable growth, support efficient Supply-Chain flows and optimize inventory. Direct accountability to the EMEA Leadership Team with a reporting line to the Global Team based in Portland (Oregon).
Led the 3-year strategic plan, the annual budget and the company monthly cycles. Scope included 50 countries, $10bn revenues, and team of 35 employees (6 direct reports). Reporting line to the CFO NIKE EMEA. Managed several projects to improve the company profitability and processes, enhance weekly/monthly management reporting and drive long term profitable growth.
Led operational performance, legal and compliance activities of 2 legal entities ($2bn revenues) and team of 40 employees (5 direct reports). Additional responsibility for facility management, procurement, cash/credit management and IT infrastructure management. Reporting line to the CFO NIKE EMEA and VP/GM NIKE France.
Led operational performance, legal and compliance activities of 3 legal entities ($1bn revenues) and team of 35 employees (5 direct reports). Reporting line to the CFO GE Healthcare EMEA based in Paris and GM GE Healthcare UK and Ireland. Responsibilities included driving operational performances (revenue, margin, working capital & cash flow, Capex), budgeting, tax, statutory accounts and compliance. Also coordinated internal and external financial audits for the legal entities. Main achievements: - Led the back-office integration and restructuring activities: closed two offices in the UK and merged the associated finance, operational and logistic teams. - Outsourced the Accounts Payables (AP) processes to another GE business. - Drove cash & compliance culture within the Region. - One month secondment to GE Energy in Houston, Texas as part of the Experienced Financial Leadership Program.
- Scope included 40 legal entities and a team of 25 – Turnover of $900M. - Owner of the Monthly and Quarterly US GAAP reporting to Corporate in the US. - Provided guidance to local CFO on complex transactions, such as purchase accounting, restructurings, factoring programs, revenue recognition etc. - Led finance side for acquisition/divestiture activities - 3 main projects over 5 years. Also, drove the integration for the new acquisitions. - Treasury Management. In charge of cash management and forecasts for the Region. Assessing loan requirements and working capital management. - Acting CFO for Portugal for 1 year. - Key achievements included a successful integration of the Instrumentarium Group acquired by GE in 2003. Strengthened the operating mechanisms with the local controllers leading best practice sharing across the organization. Followed IT system implementations which supported the financial processes and accounting principles harmonization and supported the business during the post-acquisition restructuring activities.
Responsibilities included preparation of the annual audit plan, managing the audit teams on field, attending final audit meetings with Senior Management and drafting audit reports.
