Technical coordination of System Engineering activities for the first gasoline direct injection technology project in China for a Chinese OEM. Main interface to the technical community of the customer and within Engine Systems in China.
Project and Risk Management: • Effort estimation of comprehensive "Engineering Services (ES)"-tasks. • Controlling and reporting of status, technical progress, risk and resources of the project • Guidance of ES-project team through the framework of project milestones, test trip plan, serial production Budgeting • Tracking of the Engineering Services Project-R&D budget • Minimize the teams overhead for competitive hourly rates • Enhancement of cooperation and working process across different departments • Contribution to external working groups and associations Requirement and Configuration Management • Analysis of comprehensive customer system requirements, primarily post-acquisition • Support system project leader in an efficient change & configuration management • Maintain and track system requirements versus system testing • Place new function requirements and arrange realization at Domains Technical solution, Verification and Validation & Product Integration • Maintain the FIE definition (System Design specification) and functional architecture on the quoted and agreed baseline together with System Design • Maximize capitalization of developed solutions and processes • Develop and maintain System, -release and -validation plan with the customer and coordinate with internal disciplines as Function Development, SW-development, System Design, HW and Component development, Calibration & Test Team • Ensure consistency between SW-functions, ECU-hardware, components, specification performances and customer requirements and the achievement of these requirements
