Since May 2020, Ulrich Christmann is heading the global PCT organization of Lanxess. Previously, he gained broad experience in automation technology over many years in different global roles with increasing responsibility within Bayer. In his expert role, he led direction for Bayer’s automation strategy in production by identifying new trends in process automation through co-innovation with suppliers, industry associations and research institutes. He represents Lanxess automation interests in NAMUR and through intense collaboration with ZVEI and other supplier organisations. He leads NAMUR’s work area “automation project engineering and construction” since 2013.
