As Head of Short-Term Energy Solutions in France, I help shape and optimize strategies in a fast-evolving electricity market. My role involves leading short-term market activities, ensuring performance, reliability, and value creation for both the company and its clients. Previously as Director of Operations, I managed the full spectrum of activities — from IT systems to offer pricing, portfolio and position monitoring, business development, and back-office operations. This broad experience gives me a 360° vision of the energy value chain, bridging strategy, technology, and execution. I am passionate about innovation in energy markets, creating efficient solutions, and building cross-functional collaboration to meet both operational and strategic goals.
● Leading short-term electricity market activities (optimization, trading, and position management). ● Shaping and executing the business development strategy in France while capitalizing on emerging market opportunities ● Defining and implementing strategies to maximize performance and value creation. ● Supervising teams and coordinating across functions (IT, pricing, operations, business development). ● Developing innovative solutions to address regulatory changes and evolving client needs. ● Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators and driving continuous process improvements.
● Manage end-to-end operations, from IT systems to back-office processes. ● Design and implement pricing models, ensuring profitability and competitiveness of offers. ● Lead portfolio and position management, optimizing exposure and risk. ● Lead operational teams and ensured alignment with business development initiatives. ● Drive the company growth with a 360° understanding of the energy value chain and internal processes.
● Manage customer portfolio management and developed tailored offers (supply, offtake, guarantees of origin, capacity). ● Lead day-ahead and intraday trading activities, as well as participation in the capacity market. ● Coordinate with System Operators on production unit certification and balancing perimeter compliance. ● Developp IT tools and data models to enhance hedging monitoring and contract management. ● Monitor regulatory changes and ensured compliance with electricity market rules.
● Conduct market analysis across intraday, day-ahead, futures, and balancing mechanisms, contributing to weekly, quarterly, and annual reports. ● Investigate potential cases of market manipulation through in-depth analysis. ● Develop data models, transparency databases (using ENTSO-E and French TSO data), and automated analytical tools. ● Ensure high-quality and reliable market data to support analysis and regulatory monitoring. ● Support the implementation of REMIT by participating in European discussions on MP registration, managing stakeholder relationships, and contributing to data-sharing and case management tool testing. ● Define business requirements in line with ACER’s information security policies and market surveillance strategy.
