He combines cinema, theater and poetry in a loose but significant manner, bringing together free association, fragmentation of meaning and the appropriation of stories. Various cultures, social positions and existential questions coexist in a highly stylized scenography." http://www.chengranstudio.com/ Description: Providing research for the new 9-Hour Film film project by Chinese artist Cheng Ran. Collecting and interpreting the information needed for the project, contacting artists, art foundations and institutions. Researching topics that will be the part of the project. • Publication's Curator at Flugschreiber
    Mar 2014 - Mar 2015 · 1 yr 1 mo

Curating "Flugschreiber/Amsterdam #0" edition. "FLUGSCHREIBER is a perspective of a territory, an aesthetic elaboration through the context and is also the analysis of a politico-social context in which communities are divided/reunited(Fareed Armaly) and this, in a micro-scale. The main problematic is related to the concept of resistance(Gilles Deleuze)in the act of creation and the innovative strategy created by the communities to formulate proposals of « politicization of aesthetic »(Bernard Marcadé) by radical acts within the limits of a given economy (Pascal Nicolas Le Strat). [...] Flugschreiber creates an opposition (in a logical conflict) between the capacity to "record" the identity of a city in a chosen format (77 pages / 77 min of media) and to reveal the fights of it."
