Subject: Re-assessment of non-product-related added values (services and capabilities) by Terumo Pharmaceutical Solutions (TPS) Background: TPS manufactures medical devices dedicated for the pharmaceutical industry. Those devices are either co-packed or supplied with the drugs – in order to be utilized for the medical application – or are the primary containers for the drug itself. The business relation does not stop here, intensive after-sales-service is required, TPS-customers have specific demands for additional services by their vendors. Scope: Re-Definition of services –– assessment of capabilities and resources - assignment of service packages per customer segment.
- Head productivity improvement plans. Lead and coordinate implementation of Lean Manufacturing requirements in different areas in the plant and help to identify areas of process improvement. Decrease changeover times of drum lines by 10 minutes which saved up to 40 minutes each day. Detect lack of communication between Quality and Production departments and systematized the communication by monitoring the batch release times which pushed operators from production and analysts from lab to work more organized. Encourage operators bring solutions to inefficiencies. - Coordinate MEI data collection and timely posting, analyze data and support/coordinate action plans with EAME Manufacturing Excellence Lead; report plans status regularly to Plant Manager and Europe Manufacturing Manager. Improve data collection by raising awareness of operators and systematizing it to provide a full process control. - Substitute Finite Scheduler during his absence.
