I love all things digital. I have work experience ranging from early stage start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. My area of strength has been a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and the ability to translate that into compelling products that solve real consumer needs. My core expertise is in setting up & scaling internet businesses, at the intersection of content, technology and digital media. My recent consultation work was with Sportskeeda where I looked at International sports verticals of Football and Basketball. With 60Mn+ visits, Sportskeeda aspires to provide the deepest analysis and the fastest breaking news to hardcore sports fans. Prior to this, I worked with media.net, who is among the top 3 contextual ad networks globally. We are world leaders in ad-tech and mar-tech and also the largest Yahoo-Bing partner. In this role monetised and scaled our product portfolio to $xx Mn in revenue yearly. I worked with teams New York, San Francisco, Dubai, and India. At Haymarket Media, publisher for Autocar, the oldest automotive magazine in the world; I was responsible for the digital transformation of a traditional print publisher. I created the content monetisation partnerships and also paved the way for content to eCommerce strategy. We witnessed a 3x growth in digital revenue and 7x in content consumption. I was awarded the Best Team by Haymarket among all global teams for this. I launched hotstar when I was at Star Tv which has been subsequently been acquired by Disney. While I was at Star Tv, I was responsible for monetising all our properties - content and products. This gave an opportunity to work on some very exciting shows and events - Masterchef Australia, Masterchef India, Nach Balliye, Satyamev Jayate, IPL, The Academy Awards, and Wimbledon. I was among the first few people at 'Dance with Madhuri', Madhuri Dixit Nene's app for learning how to dance. Users could learn a variety of dance forms through gamified lessons on the app. Apart from work, I love to play board games and read. I take part in the 52 Books challenge every year. My recent favourite is Tolstoy's War and Peace. I like learning new things and am currently working on my language skills with mandarin and python. I follow the start-up ecosystem and am always up for a coffee and exchanging ideas on content, marketing, data and tech.
