I am a final-year medical student at the University of Exeter with a strong interest in academic surgery, health equity and medical education. I have consistently ranked in the top decile of my cohort and completed my elective at the Nepal Burn and Cleft Centre. I will be commencing an Academic Foundation Programme at the Royal Devon University Hospital. My research focuses on population health and inequities, with work spanning breast cancer, metabolic health and burns. I was awarded a Wellcome Trust Biomedical Scholarship by the University of Oxford, where I worked within the Cancer Epidemiology Unit. I have presented internationally and received the Young Investigator Award and the Dame Clare Marx Award. As the former President of the Clinical Education Society, I led the development of the first South-West UKMLA Teaching Series and served as Lead Academic Student Representative for the BMBS programme. Beyond medicine, I serve as Chair of the Army Cadets’ Multicultural Network, leading initiatives that promote inclusion, representation and community engagement across the organisation.
