Over 10 years in academia, I have honed my expertise in academic management, administration, and coordination at various levels. As an educator, my passion lies in teaching pre-university, undergraduate, postgraduate, and adult learners. I am committed to fostering an engaging learning environment through innovative methods, especially leveraging online tools and applications. Providing pastoral care to students has always been a cornerstone of my educational philosophy. My journey in biomedical science began during my undergraduate studies, leading to a Master's and a PhD in Molecular Medicine. I am proud to have secured national and university grants as a Principal Investigator since 2017, contributing to the academic landscape. I actively supervise Master’s and PhD students, fostering the next generation of professionals. Beyond academia, my vision is to raise awareness of the significance of science, particularly in STEM-related education in Malaysia. I actively participate in national entities, professional bodies, and serve as a member of the Young Scientist Network (YSN) by the Academy of Science Malaysia. Engaging in Science Diplomacy, I contribute to YSN's Science Policy and Diplomacy activities, including workshops on policy development and analyzing surveys on skilled workforces. Besides, i am also an editorial board member of an interactive and informative STEM related website https://esti.my/. This is a platform to hone your scientific communication skills and also look out for many science-related articles, careers and informative science trivia. In addition to my roles in education and research, I actively contribute to the scientific community as a reviewer for journals and conferences. I have played various roles in organizing local and international conferences, meetings, and workshops.
