The Manawatū Community Trust is a Council Controlled Organisation of Manawatū District Council and owns and manages 205 pensioner units and the Feilding Health Centre. Currently working to expand the number of units to meet housing demand in the Manawatū.
Implemented revamp of marketing and enrollment processes to ensure a more student-focused, streamlined experience. Led investment plan processes including engagement with the Tertiary Education Commission to secure medium-term funding horizon. Managed teams responsible for business development, marketing & recruitment, and data & analytics. Undertook restructures to ensure fit-for-purpose business units that aligned to changing funding mix.
Senior role responsible for growing the range of offerings for learners in Manawatu-Whanganui region. Worked alongside faculty staff to introduce new programmes including establishing Institute of Photography in Auckland, partnering with The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand to deliver degree-level programmes at the Wairarapa Campus, partnering with iwi to establish Trades Training School in Taumarunui, and secured accreditation for New Zealand's first Masters in Design Thinking.
Responsible for connecting government to commercial and private interests, developing public-private opportunities in the housing sector. Built relationships with institutional investors, not-for-profit agencies, trusts and industry players. Managed multi-project work programme, including chairing Procurement Working Group as part of Productivity Partnership, establishment of Housing Sector Advisory Group that open up community provider access to Government housing subsidies, and undertook financial analysis of Housing New Zealand (at that time NZ's largest Government asset).
