Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
I envisage sustainable Maori economies that are centred in our tikanga and values. This area provides direction to my professional and academic undertakings. I give unwaivering effort to all my pursuits to help bring change for Māori and New Zealand society. The skills I have developed and am still in the process of developing will aid me to reach these goals.
I was responsible for ensuring my clients received a superior banking experience. My role involved regularly meetings with clients in person and on the phone in order to develop an understanding of their banking requirements. Once I understood what the client required I would then liaise with colleagues internally in the bank to implement solutions. The tasks that I was responsible for were: - Analysing and inputting financial data into our systems and developing financial models in excel. - Credit writing for working capital solutions, business acquisition, commercial and residential property purchases, trade finance and equipment finance that effectively communicated key credit risks and supporting mitigants. - Present and discuss credit recommendations with credit managers for complex transactions. - Monitoring credit excesses and notifying our credit department when any excesses exceeded limits. - Set in place appropriate covenants for our clients and testing existing covenants. - Developed effective business-to-business communication skills. - Established networks both internally and in-market.
