About

I have a profound dedication to the nexus of the Low Countries, South Africa, and the Ancient World. My scholarly work focuses on global texts from the 16th, 17th, and 18th century, turning Europe's outward gaze back in. Reception and translation theory can also count on my warm attention. I am an IB and second language examiner and strongly believe in international education at every level.
