I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science, where I learned the fundamental concepts and principles of computer science, such as data structures, algorithms, databases, and operating systems. I also explored various domains, such as web development, android programming, and reinforcement learning (RL), by working on projects in each domain. • Worked on the problem of finding semantically similar image pairs given a dataset of images and a query image under the guidance of Dr. Amit Awekar, Assistant Professor, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati • Described methods to convert images to Scene Graphs and employed graph similarity metrics namely Vertex-Edge Overlap and Graph Edit Distance to compute similarity between image pairs • Developed algorithm inspired from Hungarian Algorithm to incorporate partial match score between vertex labels in scene graphs to better adapt the graph similarity metrics to image similarity problem
• Worked with Data Strategy Team in Global Investment Research Division • Worked on automating the calculation of Macro Data Assessment Platform (MAP) Scores to replace the conventional excel sheets • Used Python and Pandas to analyse time series data of various indicators, to compute MAP scores on a daily basis and write them in the database
Developed Django-based website for students of IIT Guwahati to facilitate sharing blogs and information about events and club activities taking place in campus, and conducting polls about various matters of the campus.
