Graduated from the University of Mauritius in 1999, I have been actively working in the field of Civil & Strctural Engineering in the public as well as in the private sector. I completed my Registration to the CRPE in 2005 with thanks to my mentor , Mr Liam Tai Cheung, Managing Director of Cheung Consulting Engineers. Worked at DOWA Engineering Co Ltd, a Japanese contractor for the Fisheries Training Centre at Pointe aux Sables, at Rehm Grinacker for the Vandeermesh- Reduit Link Road, at the National Development Unit as Acting Project Manager for 10 constituencies of Mauritius, at Luxconsult Mauritius Ltd as Civil/Structural Engineer and Project Manager. Before taking up the challenge and starting on my own, I had a very fruitful experience at Arup (Mauritius) Ltd. Presently, providing strength, knowledge and experience at DWC SiVEST All the years of devotion in the field has fine-tuned my experience but still keeping a down to earth attitude as learning never stops. Besides presently undertaking Civil and Structural design, with the preparation of construction information, I am also involved in Surveying such as Topographical, Cadastral, building setting out and structural survey of existing buildings. We carry out survey with the latest GPS equipment, Total Station and Dumpy levels. Raw data are treated to enable preparation of Contour maps and preparation of road alignment, setting out or road works, drainworks, water and wastewater networks.
