How do human factors affect safety? This is a question that drives my work on enhancing psychological safety, whether on a micro level within teams or on a macro scale across organizations. I excel in fostering a collaborative learning environment, drawing on experiences from diverse cultures and generations. Kurt Lewin famously said, "There is nothing more practical than a good theory," which perfectly encapsulates my approach to integrating human factors into workplace safety. Throughout my career, I have: - Implemented Comprehensive Training Programs: As a Training Specialist, I've developed Crew Resource Management courses that are integral to safety enhancement. - Led Innovative Service Design Projects: As an Internal Coach, I promoted a safety-first mindset in service design and execution. - Contributed to Safety Culture: Through my role on safety investigation boards, I’ve advocated for continuous improvement and learning. - Educated Future Leaders: At HUMAK, I teach workplace developers and ensuring the next generation is prepared to lead with safety. The same as well when giving the Occupational Safety Courses for Suomen Ensiapukoulutus. I am eager to connect and collaborate with those interested in advancing safety practices and learning methodologies. Let's work together to create safer workplaces!
