About

I’m a backend-focused software engineer who enjoys working on complex system problems, especially around reliability, data consistency and distributed architectures. While I have experience across the stack, my main interest lies in designing and building backend systems that operate correctly under real-world conditions, not just when everything goes right but when things fail. I’ve worked on microservice-based systems handling real-time data, asynchronous processing, and high-volume workloads. This includes building event-driven pipelines, optimizing database performance, and dealing with challenges around system reliability and failure handling. Lately, I’ve been focusing more on architectural thinking: - How to design systems that don’t lose data - How to handle duplicate events and retries safely - How to reason about trade-offs in distributed systems My background in Computer Forensics has also shaped how I approach systems: with a strong focus on traceability, failure analysis, and understanding what actually happened when things go wrong. I’m particularly interested in the gap between theory and production, where most systems behave differently than expected. I like working on problems that require thinking, not just coding.

Backend-focused full stack engineer working on large-scale energy systems, primarily Outage Management System (OMS) and Distribution Management System (DMS) platforms. I design and operate microservice-based architectures handling real-time data, asynchronous workflows, and high-volume processing using Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, RedisGraph, Kafka, BullMQ, and Docker. Key contributions: • Designed and optimized RedisGraph-based hierarchical data models to manage complex authorization and domain relationships within OMS • Built event-driven pipelines using Kafka and BullMQ to support real-time outage and grid workflows • Optimized PostgreSQL queries (including recursive queries) to improve performance under high-load scenarios • Standardized logging, error tracking, and observability practices across distributed services to improve system reliability • Automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Rancher for consistent and reliable deployments • Orchestrated Redis, Kafka, and PostgreSQL in Docker-based environments for local and integration setups • Contributed to an Nx-based microfrontend architecture, working with MobX for cross-layer state consistency between backend and frontend • Actively debugged and stabilized distributed systems across services, messaging layers, and frontend state interactions My focus areas include system reliability, data consistency, performance optimization, and designing systems that behave correctly under failure conditions.
