I greatly enjoy working within a team. I currently work as a Team Lead of Helsinki Think Company Kumpula team. Our mission is to help students and researchers of University of Helsinki to bring their academic knowledge to action by promoting entrepreneurship. I have had a chance to develop my project management skills as Project Lead in organizing PsyHack 2023 hackathon, the first psychology-themed hackathon in Finland. Currently, I work as a Project Lead in Nest, a sustainability hackathon organised together with DeCarbon-Home research project. I am capable of communicating in both Finnish and English. I have excellent communication skills from my customer relations experience. My academic background shows on my working history as well. I am an urban planning graduate interested in urban history and urban studies. I have international experience in the field combined with an interest in local environment.
I work as Campus Team Lead at Helsinki Think Company, the entrepreneurial society of the University of Helsinki. I lead and support our campus team managing the four co-working spaces at City Center, Viikki, Kumpula and Meilahti campuses. I also maintain and form new collaborations for Helsinki Think Company within the innovation ecosystem. As a part of the organizational team of the company, I help to plan and coordinate the overall strategy and development of the whole organization. I worked as Team Lead at the Kumpula Campus, where we provide support for aspiring entrepreneurs in the Faculty of Science. I was Project Lead in organizing NEST hackathon for DeCarbon-Home research project. In the winter of 2023, I was the Project Lead in PsyHack 2023, the first psychology-themed hackathon in Finland.
At Flo Apps, we are highly skilled professionals with a solid background both in the IT and humanities. I handle customer relations and reply to a variety of questions in three languages.
Assisting research in Vantaa50 history project celebrating Vantaa's 50 years as a city. The project will involve the creation of a book covering last fifty years of Vantaa, collecting oral history from residents and history-inspired events. The project is led by the City Museum of Vantaa.
I collaborate in book projects together with experienced historians. Books I have contributed to as a researcher include Saapasnahkatorni - Aleksis Kiven elämä in October 2018 and history of Tradeka co-operative (to be published in 2021).
I conducted a historical survey of the Porvoo Market Square for the City of Porvoo. The survey is a part of a larger urban development project taking place in the centre of Porvoo.
