Responsibilities: • Researching areas of Family Law, Banking and Finance, and Criminal Law in Common Law Singapore • Coding the Employer Nomination Scheme track for Australian immigration law by recording a series of questions about the operation of visas. The data collection forms part of The International Migration Policy and Law Analysis (IMPALA) Database in which University of Sydney has partnered with Harvard University and London School of Economics and Political Science.
Toongabbie Legal Centre is a community-based legal centre providing free legal advice and referral services to those unable to afford private lawyers. Experience undertaken included: • Interviewing clients, recording complaints and completing advice sheets • Organising and coordinating the centre’s Professional Development seminars • Attending the Walk For Justice to raise funds for homelessness
