Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical, electronic, and control systems onboard the vessel. This includes LV main switchboards (440/220/110V), motor starter panels (DOL, Star-Delta, Auto Transformer), control panels, alternators, transformers, and 3-phase induction motors. Perform routine inspections, scheduled overhauls, and insulation resistance (megger) testing to ensure system reliability. Maintain and service air conditioning, refrigeration, galley, and laundry equipment. Oversee all navigation and communication systems, including radar (X-band/S-band), VDR, echo sounder, gyro and magnetic compass, Inmarsat systems, and GMDSS equipment.
