- Review garment fittings on dummy and conduct 3D fit evaluations to assess construction, trims, materials, and workmanship in line with tech pack requirements. - Support pattern adjustments based on customer fit comments; provide measurement and construction recommendations to improve sample performance and bulk production readiness, including preparation of fit communication files. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Pattern, and CAD teams to ensure accurate sample and pattern delivery while maintaining efficient workflows and development lead times. - Assist the Merchandising team in reviewing and creating measurement charts for VDD samples, and support the Deputy Director in preparing VFE sample packages. - Participate in line review meetings to flag production-critical issues, particularly for HR and PPS samples, supporting quality consistency for mass production.
Provide technical guidance and support, ensuring all customer requirements and product standards are met. 1. Sample Review and Approval: - Ensure samples meet product specifications by reviewing style, construction, quality, and measurements. - Approve sample quality and resolve issues related to fitting, workmanship, and measurements. - Collaborate with customers, factories, and merchandisers to discuss feedback and suggest areas for improvement. 2. Technical Advice and Support: - Provide technical support to factories, customers, merchandisers, and internal teams. Recommending or implementing alterations to improve fit. - Communicate customer requirements and expectations clearly to factories and resolve sample-related issues. 3. Other Responsibilities: - Carry out additional duties as assigned by management to support ongoing projects and operational needs.
Primarily responsible for the LO and R3 Outerwear categories, while providing support to other designers across other categories. 1. Design & Development - Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research to evaluate seasonal trends, market dynamics, and competitor. - Create digital mood boards, flat sketches, artworks, and mock-ups to present design ideas and concepts by using Adobe Creative Suite. - Collaborate with design, production, marketing, and business analysis to develop new products and collections. 2. Technical Specifications & Tech Packs - Create and manage tech packs, maquettes to communicate design elements, construction details to production teams and manufacturers. 3. Garment Construction & Fit: - Work closely with pattern makers and seamstresses to ensure samples meet design specifications. - Conduct fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal wearability and comfort. 4. Photoshoot: - Conduct styling for photoshoots. - Coordinate pre-production and on-set stages of look book or promotional photoshoot.
