I have worked in product design since 2018 and have multiple years of experience working on and leading projects. I was part of a new product launch involving the reverse engineering of a competitor product and then continuing to support the product once it left prototyping and moved into mass manufacturing. Support for product included design standards, product offering, testing, and CAD support. I have trained other designers to help them learn about and grow their knowledge of the product and the programs and systems used to design and maintain the product. I am currently learning about the Solidworks Product Data Management (PDM) environment and working towards Admin certification through Solidworks. My current projects include user profile management, file storage standards, and automation of drawings and product models. I work with our current CAD admin team to trouble shoot issues that other users are having. Design and quoting program/ process automation.
Design product and provide spec sheets for customers while creating and maintaining design standards and product offering for product line. Use Solidworks and other software to develop product lines and design process to increase efficiency. Use Solidworks and product knowledge to assist and coach other designers to help promote and positive culture and grow team abilities. Work with Solidworks 3D and 2D software while learning about other product software offered by Solidworks. Work with Solidworks administrative team to create and maintain company wide standards for design and file storage.
