Senior Resident in Infectious Diseases, National Centre for Infectious Diseases, Singapore. Rotating through microbiology laboratories, Infectious Disease wards, and Infectious Disease consults. Also providing clinical services in General Medicine. Running dedicated Infectious Disease Clinics, including care of people living with HIV (PLHIV).
Dutifully served patients admitted to both pandemic (COVID-19) and business-as-usual wards, including patients with emerging infectious diseases such as monkeypox (MPV). Ran dedicated Infectious Diseases (ID) clinics pertaining to Incident and Exposure Management (IEM) of blood-borne infections, general ID and HIV-related cases. Provided initial review of complex ID cases, including occult, severe or refractory infections, as part of a ID consultation service. Involved in smartphrase conception and training during the NGEMR Go-Live transition at NCID. Provided pastoral care to 30 medical officers in the form of roster planning, training and welfare.
Appointed as Clinical Lecturer via the Clinical Faculty Scheme, NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSoM), one of Asia’s leading medical schools (QS, THE). Responsible for conducting bedside and didactic teaching for medical students.

Completed residency in Internal Medicine within the National University Hospital, ranked as one of the Best Hospitals in the World (Newsweek). Clinical rotations completed include: Cardiology, Oncology, Transplant Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Pulmonology and Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Geriatrics, Neurology, Rehabilitative Medicine, General Medicine and Surgery. Provided holistic, comprehensive and patient-centric clinical care over the course of residency. Received commendations from superiors, contemporaries and patients. Served as a clinical tutor in NUH's RESUMED teaching programme for medical students, conducted via a combination of bedside and didactic teaching. Responsible for designing aviation physiology training curricula, innovating new means of delivery of educational content, and review of flight training contracts. Successfully maintained flight readiness and operational capabilities for >200 regular and reservist aircrew in the RSAF amidst a challenging environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Revised and updated medical directives pertaining to occupational health and exposure of aircrew and ground staff. Served on the frontlines in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital’s Screening Centre to support the whole-of-government effort in battling COVID-19 in Singapore. Provided medical care to >500 patients.
